That's all I could find:
"Live episodes of “Undateable” will begin Friday, Oct. 9 with a special hourlong telecast (8-9 p.m.)."

I remeber that this was discussed several times before, and I think we said it is one episode because it only had 1 credit block, but I am really not sure :(

Why do we have a double episode from season 2 (A Live Show Walks Into a Bar) as 2 separate episodes? Single writer, single director. And season 2 finale was also a double episode, but at least it have different writers for both parts, so the splitting is justified.
I'd assume that maybe "A Live Show Walks Into A Bar" is listed twice since it has two production codes, at least according to wikipedia so take that with whatever confidence you'd like, but without it being two episodes it would be 9 episodes and I think I remember reading that NBC ordered 10 that year. It also could have been because it was the first live show, and the live shows for each coast has different guest star/cameos and jokes.

The episodes in question (3x01/3x02) also have different production codes. But there's nothing about production codes in our policy. And as far as I can tell, the episode order for season 3 was 13 episodes, not 12. At least according to deadline. I'll try to find the relevant press release.
And they have a different East/West coast version for each episode in season 3. So why we're not listing every episode twice?
According to policy A Live Show Walks Into A Bar have all qualities of a single episode.
2 production codes most likely just means they got more money to produce the episode since it's longer than usual.
So I assume we leave it like it is?
Here's another source that says season 3 is 13 episodes, not 12, further supporting the fact that Will They/Won't They are two episodes: http://deadline.com/2015/10/undateable-live-east-west-coast-season-3-nbc-1201592275/
Ok, I will try to achieve that episode and see if it has two credit blocks, if not, it will stay like it is, as online data trumps press releases, if it does have two blocks then I will change it :)

Don't bother, it have single writer/director for both parts :)
That's why I was asking about A Live Show Walks Into A Bar episode. It also have a single credits block, but somehow ended up here as two separate episodes.

Then we need to change this to a single episode as well :)

Yeah, probably. If there's no actual reason to keep them separated. I couldn't find a relevant press release (
And what about all this East/West coast scheme? NBC have each s3 episode listed twice, but honestly I have no idea, what's the difference between East and West versions. What, it's like they shot every episode twice?

I got no clue :P
As someone who watched the show, i can confirm that every episode in season 3 aired live, so there was a live version for both the East and West coasts.

Yeah, the live coasts differed for each coast, having different jokes and sometimes the guest stars would only be on one coast's episodes and somebody different would be on the other.
