Who just "follows" shows? No one! =) Some people give up shows, etc..!

The idea is to have a drop down menu on the "Follow" button zone with 3 options:

"Finished" - This would be for shows that "ended" and it would automatically mark all episodes has seen.

"Follow" - The most common and the one that exists now.

"Gave up" ( or other cool word ) - This would be the shows we stop watching, hated the pilot etc and would not enter our watchlist and mar no episode, this would be the person to manually mark the episode where he/she gave up the show marking all previous has seen.

extra:

"Favorite" - This would just add the show the same has follow but it would go to a "favorites" zone on our profile.

We actually talked about this earlier, and envisoned to use tags for this purpose. When you would click Follow for a show, you would instantly be following it, but immediately get a popup/modal/dropdown that would allow you to further classify the show using your tags.

I think this would do pretty much what you propose, but it would allow you to customize how you want to group your shows instead of having us determine it for you :)
