UK and US. | TVmaze

I follow all period dramas from the UK and the US, although they usually are on different dates of release (series and films). I have a period drama site and like to let my audience know when films of that ilk are approaching. I just have difficulty notating the dates between countries. I am starting to make my links for more info to TVMAZE, but would like to know dates of release in these two countries.

How do I tell or can I tell which country I am seeing the dates of?

Also, Period / Costume Drama would be an excellent filter - one which I had wished TVRage had had, but didn't.

We always show the dates of the premiere airing, if it airs in the UK first you will see an UK channel and the UK airdate, if it airs first in the US, you will see an US channel and the US airdate.

So far we only track the premiere date of airing.

If you run a webpage that specialize in this, shouldn't you be the one providing tvmaze with this information, not the other way around ?

I have a period drama website and have followers from UK and US. And as we know one country will broadcast a series, then followed several months later to the other country. It's the secondary country where I lack the release dates. Right now, War and Peace are being broadcast in the UK. I don't even know IF or when it will come to the US. Downton Abbey was a good example.

There's a chance this will be implemented in the near future, at that point we would be able to add alternate premiere dates in foreign countries for all series :)

That is grand news to hear indeed. Thank you for your kind reply. I see TVrage is struggling to breath again. If this pending feature comes to fruition, it shall make TVmaze quite a leap from his competitor.

Here to help :). I worked on the UK schedules for Rage and I'm doing the same here, so will keep you posted on any developments I hear regarding this feature, as it's something I would hopefully be heavily involved in working on :).
