Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve with Ryan Seacrest

Magitroopa posted 3 months ago

As with previous years, it is once again split into four separate segments of the show, previously confirmed via The Futon Critic, with Zap2it now listing the same:

1. "Dick Clark's Primetime New Year's Rockin' Eve with Ryan Seacrest 2024 - Part 1" 8-10pm eastern time

2. Local news programming 10-10:30pm eastern time

3. "Dick Clark's Primetime New Year's Rockin' Eve with Ryan Seacrest 2024 - Part 2" 10:30-11:30pm eastern time

4. "Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve with Ryan Seacrest 2024 - Part 1" 11:30pm-1:09am eastern time

5. "Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve with Ryan Seacrest 2024 - Part 2" 1:09-2:13am eastern time

With that information, is this now able to be updated with the above?...

I do understand what you're saying but we need to establish how this works. Do end credits roll between parts or does it seem like a normal ad break? Tagging in the American staff here as well @LadyShelley and @RoseRed

LadyShelley posted 3 months ago

Someone will have to be awake at 1am to check. (it won't be me. LOL!)

My suggestion (for the record) would be to list the Primetime portion as Part 1 and Part 2 as there is a clear break between them. The late-night portion should be listed as one continuous episode from 11:30pm to 2:13 am as the times overlap and there is likely not a credit roll in between.

News

Hi Tom, this is fli718. I was just wondering; would it be possible for me to post news again? I promise I will not do anything about premieres but will leave that up to you and Lady Shelley. I will only post news of either renewals or cancellations or cast for U.S. (and only U.S. shows). I understand it's a lot to ask, but I feel bad always having to ask people for help posting things. Please let me know either way. Thank you!

Cartoon credits

Magitroopa posted 10 months ago

Asking specifically regarding 'Storyboard director(s)', 'Supervising director(s)', and 'Animation director(s)'- do any of these get included as a director under 'guest crew', or not at all?

Additionally, would there be any way of adding storyboard credits here- specifically 'Storyboard by'?

Magitroopa posted 10 months ago

Nevermind regarding 'Animation director(s)', since that is a credit included under main crew credits- still wondering about the other three though.

TomSouthwell posted 10 months ago

Storyboard and Animation are one in the same here - Supervising director can be added under Supervising Art Director.

Magitroopa posted 10 months ago

Alright, so 'Storyboard director', 'Animation director', and 'Storyboard by' all go under 'Animation director', and 'Supervising director' under 'Supervising Art Director'?

TomSouthwell posted 10 months ago

Nope Storyboard By is Animator. The rest what you said yes.

Magitroopa posted 10 months ago

Okay- thanks. And just an FYI regarding the Tidal Zone special stuff I've been posting about- I've changed the segment that was originally "The Switch Glitch" listed under Kamp Koral to a newly released episode, so that is 1 less deletion to be done now. I'll probably get to updating the special fully at some point.

TomSouthwell posted 10 months ago

Which episodes of what still need deleting please?

Guest cast (re)

Magitroopa posted 11 months ago

Just looking for clarification following this discussion- should the same thing regarding 'Guest' in the character name not be done in all shows? For example, should Christopher Tompkins's character be named 'Judge' under guest cast instead of 'Guest Judge' under guest cast on this episode?

TomSouthwell posted 11 months ago

Our credits should reflect exactly how they were credited on screen. If he was credited just as 'Judge' that's how we would credit him if he's credited 'Guest Judge' that's how we'd credit him.
