Pound 4 Pound added to BET with a official site linking to a South African network ?

serhiy2810 posted 8 months ago

Good afternoon. You are right there is a BET Africa channel, I do not have the rights to add a broadcast network. If possible, please add this network to Africa.

Done. Also removed your official link sending users to a SA version of our site. Please be careful, we cant keep double checking everything you add!

YouTube Shows

TomSouthwell posted a year ago

Hey serhiy

Can you please point out to me what web based criteria 'Camping with Steve' and 'Cute Mario Bros' is meeting from the data policy:

In case of a non-curated Web Channel where anyone can upload content (like Youtube or Vimeo), or when the show was premiered on DVD/Blu-Ray, the following requirements apply in addition to the general policy.

First, the show must adhere to all of the following rules:

The show must give credit to at least 1 cast member and at least 2 crew members

The show must provide a sequential numbering for the episodes

The show's episodes must be released on a fixed schedule (not applicable for DVD premieres)

In addition, the show must adhere to any of the following rules:

One of the credited cast- or crew members must be credited in another curated show, OR

The show raised a budget of $25.000 onetime, or $2500 monthly, OR

After its original run, the show was repeated on a broadcast TV channel or a curated Web Channel

Please do not approve anymore shows until we've had a discussion around your understanding of this policy. Thanks!

Hi there! Please don't add all the actors to the same characters: it's ok to use TBA if you're not sure about the characters names, but you must create a separate character for each actor, even if you call them all TBA.

Let me know if you need help with that.

Ciao

Nathan

Good evening. I apologize for the small infraction. The thing is that I don’t know what role the actors play in this series. https://www.raiplay.it/programmi/mameli-ilragazzochesognolitalia From the above, I correctly understood that in this case it should be called, for example, TBA1, TBA2....?

I just stumbled across this talk message but can I first point out that Wikipedia should never be used as a source to add cast and crew as much as imdb shouldn't be. Alongside the point @NathanDrake83 has made here. The sites data policies clearly point out what Nathan is asking as well @serhiy2810 so please read them if you are adding information you wouldn't normally add and ask in the forums if you are unsure of anything before adding information incorrectly, such as what's happened in this instance, in the future as well.

Runtimes of episodes

CostaDax posted 2 years ago

Hi, serhiy! I hope you're doing fine!

I noticed that you changed the runtimes of a whole bunch of network shows from 60 to 45 (eg. 9-1-1, Fire Country, Gotham Knights, Hudson & Rex, Kung Fu, Magnum P.I., Superman & Lois, The Blacklist, The Company You Keep, The Good Doctor, The Rookie, Walker, Will Trent). Please read our policy on scheduled run time / episode length: "For all broadcast TV, scheduled runtime is the amount of minutes between the start time and the end time of the episode. This means commercial breaks within or between episodes, as well as other interstitials will be included in the episode's scheduled runtime." This means that for most drama shows that run on a network the scheduled runtime is 60, and for most comedy shows the runtime is 30. This includes shows on broadcast TV like ABC, CBS, FOX, NBC, The CW, as well as cable TV like AMC, Freeform, FX, HBO, Showtime, Starz, Syfy, TNT etc. On the other hand, the runtime of episodes that run on a streaming service (like AMC+, Apple TV+, Disney+, HBO Max, Hulu, Lionsgate+, Netflix, Paramount+, Peacock, Prime Video, Showtime on Demand etc) is the exact runtime of the episode whatever this may be. I reverted your changes to all the above mentioned shows. If you have made similar changes to any other shows, please let me know so I can change them back.

I also noticed that you changed the network and the language of Des gens bien from ARTE to La Une, and from French to Bengali. I am unsure which network first released that show but I know that the show is Belgian and the language is definitely French, not Bengali (a language spoken in Bangladesh and India). So changed the language back to French.
