Sasha Alexander in an American actress who was born in Los Angeles, California to a Serbian mother and an Italian Serbian born father.
She has a brother named Alexander. In the seventh grade, she began acting in school productions and later continued acting through high school and college. She then moved to New York to act in summer stock and Shakespeare festivals. She received a BFA degree in directing from the University of Southern California's School of Cinema & Television.
