Ok, this one could be tough one;o). This show (https://www.tvmaze.com/shows/36441/ordinace-v-ruzove-zahrade-2) is basically a continuation of this oficially "dead" show (https://www.tvmaze.com/shows/36440/ordinace-v-ruzove-zahrade). They aired 3 seasons and then renamed it, but they kept the seasons order (don't ask me why;o). Oficially, the "new" one follows the 3d season of the "dead" one. Basically, I have to start fill episodes in the 3d season, but I can't. What should I do? Thank you!

You can start by reading the chapter "Continuations/reboots" of data policy :)

In short words, if the show specifically starts at season 3 and have the same people involved, it should be added to previous entry and not created as a new show.

From what I could tell, the official episode guide is not using seasons, they have all episodes numbered sequentially, with separate numeration for old show and the new one. Are you sure about the season numeration?

This TV station is known for absolutely messed up numeration/naming/etc...it doesn't surprise me at all. The episode guide, is useless. Just makes no sence. If the name is changed, logically, it's another show and the number "2" in the name says it clearly, right? Wikipedia table with episodes makes more sence to me, but it has to start from 3d season then. This is a mess. And of course IMDB shows them as two different shows 1 and 2

Both Wiki and IMDb are not official sources and should not be considered as a main data source. Messed or not, the official numeration does not include the seasons, so the year-based numbering looks more applicable.

Maybe there's some official press-releases, announcements or advertisement, where the station clearly uses the season numbers?

Nope, they don't uses seasons officially (on the website) , but it's obvious that there are seasons, like any other long running TV show has. Everyone who watch this show, knows that the show has a new season (each year). The show is from 2005, maybe that's the reason they didn't use this (usual nowadays) format for episodes/seasons "arrangement". It was one of the first show of this kind in Czech Republic. Anyway, let's do this like this: Remove the 2nd one and I'll just add the rest of the episodes to the 1st one. Actually regarding "same people involved": The script writers and the director changed after 2,5 seasons. The cast is also not identical, alot of them didn't make it to the "2nd" part of the show. It looks like TV bosses didn't like how previous director/whoever does his job, that's why they decided to split it up by adding the number and continue with a new one.

Well, per TVmaze policy it is enough that at least one of the creators or producers and one of the cast members are the same, to consider the show a continuation. Read the chapter I mentioned above, it all became much clearer :)

As for seasons – it's not so obvious, nor mandatory. And it is also explained in policy: However, some shows like daily soaps or daily talk shows don't have any notion of season numbers. In such a case, the premiere year of the episode should be used as season number.

And to make it clear – https://www.tvmaze.com/shows/36441/ordinace-v-ruzove-zahrade-2 should be deleted, right?
