Is there anyone who watched the tv version?

I checked some other unofficial sources, they mostly have it as two episodes too.

The official site have it as a single episode, and judging from the episode opener there's a single set of writers/directors. Moreover, according to the CN's episode guide, it's episode 2x31, not 3x01. So it's still season 2 running, not season 3.

Is there any press release to clarify the current season number?

Futon which only uses press Releases is also saying that it is still the second season that is airing, but futon also has the episode listed as part one and part two.

I think a single block of writers/credits beats the futon's listings :) But anyway, at least one thing is clear – it's still season 2 :)

BTW, isn't this poster for the original 1998 series, and not for the 2016 reboot? The logo shape and all.

Yeh it looks like it.

There aren't too many cases like this ... but I love it when a weird/odd/different scenario pops up ... but do we need to change "Born in" to "Born on" for Jack Soo?

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jack_Soo

http://www.tvmaze.com/people/91304/jack-soo

But seriously, what do we use? His parents nationality? Where they first set step after his birth? The nation the ship was registered? Or add "At Sea" to list of places someone could be born?

That is a real oddity...I would leave it as it is...with Born in :)

I think TVMaze should blaze the trail into the future and be prepared ... under places where someone was born, please add "In Orbit", Moon, Mars, Interstellar Space ... you know it's going to happen! :)

Even though he may be born on sea, my safest bet will be that he is registered as born in the USA on his documentation as they probably signed him up over there.

What about people born on a military base in another country?

Do we put it as the literal country that it is, or the country of the military base (if designated as the country's territory by law).

I've come across at least a dozen of those and I've been putting the country of the military base.

It's hard not to when you google the person and it says they're born in that specific country and often gives specifics as to what town and such as well.

American Ninja Warrior still shows 9X15 as the last episode but on 3/11 there was a new episode 9X16 USA Vs the World. Can I get that added?

The USA vs. the World episodes are listed as specials. You'll find the one you're looking for here.
