Hello!

My request (https://www.tvmaze.com/request/view?id=4581) was rejected becouse "Hello, those are only segments of previous epiosodes that aired on TV."

But DC Kids show is a series with 2 main cast actors (https://www.imdb.com/title/tt6849952/) and a differt guests from comic, movie and other media of DC.

Maybe I should give more specified link to a show on youtube:

sorry, will add it now, my mistake :)

Then it's using the wrong ID.... IMDb ID for Extreme Engineering is tt0364806 and not tt1056754

Did some more digging, and archive.org's snapshots of the official websites & all streaming platforms have both shows separate. Not sure it's a great idea to merge Build it Bigger into Extreme Engineering just because it has the same host.

Amazon Prime:

https://www.primevideo.com/detail/Build-it-Bigger/0GZ44TGUZF72E4HM00IEI9Z1PU

https://www.primevideo.com/detail/Extreme-Engineering/0R1FMC3MHSZON1LDI9DBLUN4X0/

Apple TV+:

https://tv.apple.com/ca/show/build-it-bigger/umc.cmc.68t5x9rsvuhar0deqfxm8kbrv

https://tv.apple.com/ca/show/extreme-engineering/umc.cmc.2oo4wjigl0kde5ec8d3wnxyrz

And, Archive.org snapshot of both shows on their network:

Discovery Channel:

https://web.archive.org/web/20120215052316/http://dsc.discovery.com/convergence/engineering/engineering.html

Science Channel:

https://web.archive.org/web/20160225171009/http://www.sciencechannel.com/tv-shows/build-it-bigger/

Last edit for this whole mess: The production company's website (https://powderhouse.net/) lists both shows separately in the Telly Awards section:

Extreme Engineering (Discovery)
Build it Bigger (Science Channel)

I need some help with this: @RoseRed @gazza911 @Aidan @momijigari

Hi, I posted the photo for the previous episode of Top Chef, but am not sure if the resolution is correct. If someone could please check the photo and tell me whether this is good, please let me know. Here's the link https://www.bravotv.com/sites/bravo/files/styles/playlist_thumbnail/public/media_mpx/thumbnails/tve-static-bravotv.akamaized.net/prod/image/146/623/TC_2102_EPISODE_THUMB.jpg?itok=0b7rehRi. Thank you!

Yeah that image is not close to being good enough. Which you already knew as you brought it up on the previous episode as well.

Please familiarize yourself with our image guidelines before adding any more images; https://www.tvmaze.com/faq/16/episode-extras#gallery

Obviously two shows has not "been merged just because it has the same host" (and fyi, the first three seasons of EE aren't even hosted by Danny Forster, so that claim is highly illogical.) This is in fact the same show. The fact that Discovery and its franchise channels airs some of it under multiple titles doesn't make it multiple shows. The five seasons of BiB all aired as EE first, as seasons 4, 6, 7, 8, 9. And as we all know, TVmaze lists the original airing once, and not revisions of history, thus duplicating entire pages of information.

Now, if the production company lists them separetly as well, it is probably simply due to production & copyright reasons.... for instance, the five seasons rebranded as BiB aren't only hosted by Danny Forster, he was also involved as an executive producer to them, as well as other crew credits.

I could make further comments regarding this, but it's fairly well-known (even added to the show wiki years ago by someone). I actually also watched some of these episodes many years ago, wondering why they all felt familiar, before realizing it wasn't just deja vu, it was in fact rebranding, something Discovery is quite known for.

No, but as two actors was attributed to that same character, I removed the male actor. Hopefully that gives the end result you were looking for.

It does! Thank you very much :) !
