It seems over this last month or so, there has been a significant increase in the amount of shows being added to the site on a daily basis, which is great for the site but with it i am seeing IMO a decrease in the quality and accuracy of these additions, it feels like there is maybe a rush to get requests added and the data being imported is not being properly checked.
The main problem i see is show runtimes which in the case of networks with commercial breaks are normally 30 or 60 minutes yet they are being added as 22 minutes or 42 minutes and then hundreds upon hundreds of episodes are being imported incorrectly because of this. I have been correcting some of them that i have found but with this continually happening i felt i needed to create a forum post to bring attention to it.
On a smaller scale but still significant i am also seeing shows like this imported https://www.tvmaze.com/shows/44694/fries-with-that as you can see you have the show/episode run time problem, but also the episode air dates are a complete mess, going against site rules.
Maybe admin/mods are comfortable with this and if that is the case, then fine, but if not maybe there is a way to limit these kind of things from happening?
