Proper pic changed with lower res

Nikquest posted 2 years ago

Well, I already answered you: I don't like it when someone uploads only official images, not their own. And you went even further: you began to change everything in general, several years ago. What for? To have the same type of official images everywhere from sites that are everywhere? I don't like this, because it looks like a regular copy-paste of what is everywhere, and not watching TV shows. In addition, it often happens that the image from the off-site is false, and in the episode itself it is not there or it looks completely different, in a different tone, lighting, even with the characters there may be differences. And the ratio is almost always different. But your right to think differently, here we have radically different approaches.

I don't care what happened a few years or months ago, but not day or week ago.

Changing official titles

Nikquest posted 2 years ago

Hmm ... Because here always prepositions and articles were written in the names of episodes and series with small letters (except for very rare exceptions). And at Netflix, and at cable channels, and at the air. I think it’s just a matter of grammatical correctness, but it always seemed to me that this was the right way. Let's do this, otherwise it will turn out that somewhere there will be much more exceptions to the detriment of common sense.

Because I hate it when someone else's screenshots are taken from official sites. This is the way for those who DO NOT WATCH TV shows, but stupidly fills in the base. I prefer to always make my own pictures that I don't see anywhere else.

You could at least move to the XXI century and start making them from a decent FullHD source for a change. Most people prefer quality to authenticity if they need to choose between them.

please don't add in default runtime if the episode runtimes are variable, cheers :)

Nikquest posted 3 years ago

But:

a) when synchronizing with other sites that take data from TV maze, the "default runtime" parameter is one of the most important. Otherwise, it is automatically counted as zero minutes.

b) specifically "The Holiday Movies That Made Us" has two episodes, each 45 minutes long. That is, the duration is the same!

Take Two

SilverSurfer posted 5 years ago

Hi. I switched the status back for Take Two to TBD since it turns out the show is under consideration by two streaming channels for a second season. Just wanted to let you know why I changed it back if you noticed. :)

But abc canceled, and until the other channels are determined, the series is officially closed.
However, it's your business.
