2017-18 Network Fall Schedule

All five networks announced Fall schedules this week and revealed a couple of interesting trends. The first is how few new programs are on the schedule. There are only twenty-six new programs requested across all five networks for the 2017-18 season compared to thirty-nine new pilots for the 2016-17 season. Also of note is how many programs are now produced in-house at each network.

CBS and NBC will share the Thursday Night Football honors next season. CBS will have the first half of the season and NBC the back half starting in November. As a result the Thursday night schedules for both networks will be a bit scrambled until football ends.

New programs are in bold text, programs that moved to a new night/time are noted on the schedule. All times are Eastern Standard.

Lady Shelley - you may have fixed the typos, but "There" should have been "There are"

This is Us wont move to the Thursday. So happy we get to see this still on Tuesday. Prefer a more spread schedule

While I agree it might be nice to have every show listed with a link, the current way to write articles would make it *very* time consuming. There fifty or so shows listed and I'm not sure if all the pilot shows even have pages yet. :-) Also from an aesthetics POV, I'm not sure it would look good to have a page full of links.

And I fixed the typo. Cheers. :-)

Yes, linking to each and every show to a page on TVM would be great.

btw. there's a tiny typo. iZomibe instead of iZombie

Not sure what you're requesting hamzaoglu, did you want a link to the Maze page for every series listed?

hamzaoglu posted 6 years ago

Nice article thank you. If possible a link to the series homepage would be nice.

When I saw that Young Sheldon is about Sheldon from Big Bang Theory, my first thought was really, with how lackluster seasons 9 and 10 were, why do a spinoff? Those associated with both shows should work on improving the writing of Big Bang. It seemed really off in this past season to me.
