ABC premiered To Tell The Truth and Mixed-sh last week. Mixed-ish opened up a tenth from where it ended last season. Black-ish moved to a new night and picked up a couple of tenths as a result. Big Sky aired its first episode since December steady, chances of it getting a renewal are pretty good at this point. The Rookie lost a tenth, not helped by airing against the AFC Championship game. The show is in its third season and unless it completely melts down, should get a fourth. Call Your Mother was steady but low, its chances for renewal are fading.

CBS feasted on football with the AFC game in primetime. An episode of FBI followed the game earning a big audience jump. Unfortunately, that didn't transfer to its regular night, as the show was back to its usual numbers. NCIS fans must have heard me, as it popped its first 1.0 rating of the season last week. The show is in no danger and will be renewed as long as the people making it want to continue. The Neighborhood was up two tenths. Bob (Hearts) Abishola was up a tenth. Both shows should be easy renewals. SEAL Team and SWAT were both even with their last new episodes a couple of weeks ago. Neither show has ever had stellar numbers, but they are consistent, and both will probably be renewed. The Unicorn lost another tenth and is probably done after this season.

NBC announced its first renewal last week, giving The Blacklist the green light for a ninth season. The Chicago trifecta all lost a tenth last week, but all three are already renewed for the next two seasons so nothing to worry about there. Zoey's Extraordinary Playlist gained a tenth, keeping its hopes alive for another season. Mr Mayor was also up a tenth. If it stays where it is, it should be renewed as well.

FOX had a quiet week. 9-1-1 held its premiere numbers. 9-1-1 Lone Star gained a tenth. Both shows are easy renewals for the network. The Resident was up a tenth. Prodigal Son, however, lost a tenth. It could be in trouble if the trend continues. Call Me Kat was steady.

The CW premiered Charmed last week. The show barely cleared 500,000 viewers, though the football game on another network likely didn't help. It's in its third season, so even if the network didn't renew everything anyway, it would still likely be renewed. Walker lost a ratings tenth, but is by far the most popular program on the network these days, pulling twice the audience of anything else on the schedule. It will be interesting to see if it stays at the top of the ratings chart once The Flash premieres in March.

Network schedules have stabilised somewhat with the new year. Fewer imported shows are airing now and more scripted programs are back. Let us know what your watching in the comments!

I haven't heard anything about filming for Evil. Since the show films in New York, they may have been hit with Covid restrictions.
I'm interested in Walker still, but they need to work on the story balance. I was expecting a crime-solving, case story kinda show. Not a soap opera with a hint of mystery thrown in. I get that they are still in the introducing the characters and conflict phase, but come on guys, pick up the pace a little. :)
I have a question: any idea on if/when Evil has started on filming season 2? If they started, have you heard when it will start airing? Other than that, Walker and Call Your Mother have been keeping me intrigued enough for at least one more episode for each show. And I'm kinda losing interest in Legacies. Everything else I watch, I've been enjoying.
this is cool
