Ratings Roundup for the Week of November 28, 2021

CBS ran most of its regular schedule last week, unlike other networks. Ghosts returned after a week off, even with its last new episode. NCIS Hawai'i returned after a couple of weeks off, gaining a tenth from its last new episode. A Saturday repeat from CSI: Vegas saw a big jump thanks to the afternoon college football game. The new episode airing at its normal time however remained steady at its regular low. Blue Bloods lost a tenth, tying its lowest ratings number set last February.

ABC premiered The Great Christmas Light Fight for a ninth season. This year's version opened low compared to previous years, and the finale was down a tenth and more than half a million viewers from its premiere. Queens was pulled for an episode of Superstar. Superstar held the same ratings number but picked up seven hundred thousand viewers. The Wonder Years lost a tenth after a week off. It's falling farther behind the rest of the Wednesday comedy block and if it doesn't come up a little, it may be one season and done after this year.

NBC ran mostly specials last week. Ordinary Joe was pulled for a preview of Jimmy Fallon's game show, That's My Jam. Considering That's My Jam gained three tenths and two million viewers, the hopes for more Ordinary Joe are just about gone. La Brea wrapped up its first, not to mention short, season, even with the previous week. The Peacock ported over the premiere episode Baking It from the streaming service last week. If the hope was to entice viewers to go sign up for the service, the effort fell a bit flat.

FOX feasted on football last week. An NFL overrun gave a hefty pop to the Sunday animation block, but the Michigan game on Saturday was a big boost as well. 9-1-1 returned after a week off, up a couple of tenths. The Resident also gained a couple of tenths from the previous week. The Big Leap managed to pick up a tenth, but it's too little too late to save the show at this point. Our Kind of People gained one hundred thousand viewers, but it's also likely done.

The CW saw success with its updated version of The Waltons. The special had the largest audience for the network for the week. The same could not be said for Beebo Saves Christmas. The Flash picked up a tenth in ratings even though its viewer numbers stayed the same. Walker picked up one hundred thousand viewers. 4400 was steady and Legends of the Hidden Temple was mercifully given a week off.

It airs on Friday night and it's twelve years old. ;) The Friday night line-up did have stronger numbers when Hawaii Five-0 was anchoring the night, but Friday night shows never get the highest numbers.
