The second-season premiere of Star Wars: Andor filled some schedule space, garnering nearly a million viewers on the linear network the day after the premiere on Disney+. The network also announced renewals for The Golden Bachelor and Dancing with the Stars.

CBS surprised no one last week with the news Poppa's House was cancelled. The network also announced that a planned spinoff for The Equaliser was scrapped. That does not bode well for the Queen Latifah-led parent series. NCIS picked up eight hundred thousand viewers last week, proving the venerable series still has some gas in the tank. NCIS: Origins was up three hundred thousand viewers. NCIS: Sydney lost one hundred thousand viewers for its season finale. Watson was down half a million viewers. FBI was down two hundred thousand viewers. Tracker was down six hundred thousand viewers.

NBC execs were likely wondering how they could get another The Americas next season. The Making of The Americas special performed better than most of the network's current lineup. Suit LA lost another hundred thousand viewers. Grosse Point Garden Society was even.

I'm sure that's a question the production team has been asking for years. The Rookie is one of those shows that seems to fly under most people's radar (surprising given Nathan Fillion's cache). Every year it's a nail-biter for its fans if it will be renewed or not.
