Solid, entertaining version of one of the best military satire novels ever written, but the book is so much better than any filmed version to date that it's hard to get excited. I really thought this had a better chance, it being a passion project of George Clooney's for a long time, but it just feels like any other TV adaptation of a book. There's nothing that gives it the push to clear the hurdle to be anything else.
Not a waste of time, but if you've read this already, just avoid it.
Love everything about this miniseries so far.
For me, this is a completely unnecessary TV show.
Finally a WWII related series again and it is of decent quality. Though plenty of room for improvement.
This is actually good. Very close to the Heller's writing, I like it :)
