Runyon is performing his "puppet" show on Carnival Row, talking about the recent deaths. He asks the crowd if the two victims will get the justice they deserve, and says that each earned their reward. Runyon plays the Victrola with Querelle's song and the crowd listens. Moira is among the onlookers and listens with them. Afterward, Runyon collects coins from the crowd. He recognizes Moira when she comes up to him, and she says that the show was lovely.
