S01E05 is an incredible stand-alone episode outside of the series' main story. The writing has depth and brilliance, and Cristin Milioti and Jake Johnson give us whip-smart, whip-fast dialogue. Their characters grow and change over time, until the inevitable, but still heart-breaking ending.
As the series' main story resumes with E06 - E10, and I noticed more character development, bits of insightful depth... along with the usual Orgy of Glorious Goof.
