I have aggressively defended 'The 100' as the single best thing to ever happen to The CW. But like the old gray mare, she just ain't what she used to be.
I avoid shows with kids in the main cast but I liked Madi because she was first and foremost a "grounder" but in this episode she seemed to be any kid in any show.
We're 7 seasons in and Murphy is still the exact same prick he was in the first episode. Bit late at this point but a wee bit of character growth would have been nice.
The anomaly appears to be some kind of interdimensional Buffy-esque hell portal, ok.
I initially liked the duality of righteous intentions and "Commander of Death" that Clarke goes through but as the years have gone on, it's like, be one and unleash the other as necessary. Instead it becomes a "Sophie's choice" everytime. Dude, you have hundreds of bodies to your name, just own it and be a benevolent dictator.
