Kilgrave wakes up in the CDC containment cell and calls to Jessica. He discovers that the cell is flooded up to the ankles with water, and the video of his parents’ experiments on him play. Jessica brings up the lights but is unable to hear Kilgrave through the hermetically-sealed glass. He reminds her that she was building him up as a hero, and Jessica says that he’s a killer, not a hero.
