Culp and the others go back into the bar and Culp finally pours them drinks. They ask Culp if he's going to leave Paladin laying out in the street, and Culp figures that Paladin is no threat to anyone. One of the men, Roy Smith, refuses the drink and says that no one mentioned shooting Kincaid down when his hands were tied. He says that they never saw Kincaid before, and Culp asks him what he intends to do about it. Roy tells them that he's as game for it as the rest of them but Kincaid's hands…
