What? Do you know what show you're watching? Do you know the source material it's based on? Also, it wasn't even that violent? Was there violence? Yes. Was it excessive? Absolutely not. Same as every other episode.

The torture and the continuous stabbing in the end. Yes, it was more violent than other episodes. So we obviously disagree on that point, as although this is of course based on a violent game, a story can still be told without focusing blatantly on the violence. We all know that part too well by now, so there's nothing new there. Like showing e.g. erotic scenes over and over again. No one would watch that, we've been there and done that, so it's gotten old.

The stories and the telling of them is what's interesting and exciting. Not the all too easy and primitive violence ;-)

SPOILER ALERT!!!  Please refrain from spoiling every episodes from any given TV series.  Your quotes are ok, but giving details on how an episode goes is really a bummer.  Thank you.

You are the one reading covered spoilers, it's on you. The other poster used the proper etiquette.

JoEmme, if I'm not mistaken, my comments are blacked out...which tells anyone who attempts to read them SPOILER ALERT. So unless I'm notified by those who run this platform, about what I can write...please do not read my blacked out comments and your episode experience will not be ruined by the way I express myself.

Ellie finds herself taken by David and her only way out is to save herself. Meanwhile, Penicillin does a body good and Joel is strong enough to defend himself and locate Ellie. "It's ok babygirl, I've got you." Words Joel hasn't used in 20 years with his own daughter, which Ellie has become.

I found some interesting quotes in this episode.

"Why am I in a cage, because I'm afraid of you...you are a dangerous person."

"You know what I see, when I look at  you, me...your a natural leader, your smart, loyal and violent."

"You have a violent heart."

"I'm a  shepherd surrounded by sheep and all I want is an equal, a friend."
