Deputy Summers arrives at the Plainsfield winter quarters and serves Tim with an eviction notice, giving him one week to vacate the premises. Tim points out that he has a 20-year-lease on the property, and Summers tells him that the lease has a public nuisance clause that gives the city council a right to end it.
