Each season has its own cast and story line. But there are exceptions since some characters return from season to season like Jennifer Coolidge's, Natasha Rothwell's, and Jon Gries's character.
Jon Gries's character didn't have a strong story line of his own, so he was probably the most forgettable of them all. And since Natasha Rothwell didn't have any appearances in Season 2, she hasn't been seen in almost 4 years. So I can understand why people might have forgotten her as well.
IMO they should have cast a Hawaiian woman for that role. That character is from Maui and Hawaiians don't get proper representation.
You may be right. Her character seems to be in season 1 as I've checked here in TV Maze. Totally forgotten how season 1 and 2 went. So you may be right in mentioning that every season are interconnected. Need to watch the previous seasons again.
I def could be wrong but Belinda Lindsey remembers Greg Hunt so it feels like it was from another season but I haven't researched it to know if I am indeed correct...
I'm not sure but I think the past seasons have nothing to do with the current season. I think each season has its own storyline. Correct me if I'm wrong.
