From the opening scene's I thought it was clearly "CW teen angst drama", but still think it has been great fun so far. I am not the target audience for this show either but your point is taken.
I'm going to see where it takes me and watch the next one.

I have to disagree, this is very good fantasy entertainment with a love story at the center of it of course :)
