So... we're looking at 2023 before we get an actual full season again?
time to retcon chinall's lore out of time and space. It wasn't Ms. Whittaker's acting nor her gender that fans despised; so many wonderful and interesting opportunities lost. Would be good to return to the Moffat era - or pretty much anything not being 99% virtue signaling.
Yes, it was really bad luck for her. I won't say I'm a big fan, but mostly because of the really bad writing, not because of her acting.

Was not eager to have Chibnall in charge, to begin with, and he lived down to my worst expectations. I have no idea if Jodie would have made a good Doctor as Chibnall basically told her to ape Tennant and Smith. We never really saw her take on the role.
Chibnall should have been gone after his first season, but I hate to see Jodie leave. She's a really good actor and would have had a lot more potential as The Doctor without Chibnall at the helm.
Finally, the Chibnall is out. Maybe the Doctor has a chance after all...
I hope it was a good lesson, and they'll just ask Moffat to return.
