Terrence Mann

Terrence Mann is an American actor, singer, and theatre performer, born on July 1, 1951, in Ashland, Kentucky. He studied at the North Carolina School of the Arts before beginning a career that would span Broadway, film, and television.

Mann became a major Broadway performer after originating the role of Rum Tum Tugger in Cats. He later earned Tony Award nominations for portraying Javert in Les Misérables, the Beast in Beauty and the Beast, and Charles in Pippin.

His screen credits include A Chorus Line, the Critters films, Sense8, and The Dresden Files. Since 2021, he has portrayed Brother Dusk in the Apple TV+ science-fiction series Foundation.
