Bahni Turpin

Bahni Turpin (born in Pontiac, Michigan, USA) is an American audiobook narrator and stage and screen actor based in Los Angeles, California. As an actor, she is known for Crossroads (2002), Malcolm X (1992), and Cold Case (2003). Her audiobook career includes popular and critically-acclaimed books like The Help and The Hate U Give. She has won 9 Audie Awards, including Audiobook of the Year for Children of Blood and Bone; 14 Earphone Awards; and 2 Odyssey Awards. Turpin was named an Audible Narrator of the Year in 2016 and the American Library Association's Voice of Choice for 2017. She also earned a place on AudioFile magazine's list of Golden Voice Narrators and was inducted into the Audible Hall of Fame in 2018. Turpin is also an ensemble member of Cornerstone Theater Company in Los Angeles.
