Born in New York City, New York, Courtney Peldon graduated from Skidmore College with a major in Abnormal Psychology and a minor in Film. At the age of eight she was 'Tootie' in the Gershwin Theatre Meet me in St. Louis for the show's entire run. Her debut on television was in a 1986 episode of The Ellen Burstyn Show, in 1989 the she played the role of Sara Anderson in the movie Adventures in Babysitting and in 1991 became Darcy Payne in the series Harry and the Hendersons.
