After studying drama in Scotland, the native of Northern Ireland began his career in the theater, appearing in London stagings of such plays as "A Prayer for My Daughter" and "Our Private Life." The "Merlin" job came shortly afterward and has pretty much kept him occupied since, though Morgan also has had roles in a couple of movies, "Parked" and "Island."
