Thomas Jane

Thomas Jane is an American actor, producer, director and comic-book writer, born Thomas Elliott III on February 22, 1969, in Baltimore, Maryland. After early screen roles, he first gained wider attention as Todd Parker in Boogie Nights and went on to star in Deep Blue Sea, 61*, The Sweetest Thing and Dreamcatcher. Jane became closely associated with Frank Castle after leading Marvel's The Punisher and later reprising the role in the short film Dirty Laundry. His films also include The Mist, Stander, The Thin Red Line, 1922, Hot Summer Nights, The Predator, Play Dirty, Salvation and Frontier Crucible. On television, he earned three Golden Globe nominations as Ray Drecker in HBO's Hung, played Detective Joe Miller in The Expanse and led Troppo as Ted Conkaffey. Jane made his feature directing debut with Dark Country and co-founded Raw Studios, publishing comics including Bad Planet.
