Simon Kassianides is an English actor, voice-over artist, director, producer, and writer. He is of Greek Cypriot origin and he was born in London on 7 August 1979.
Kassianides graduated with honours in International Business with Finance. He also started a course at London's Central School of Speech and Drama but had to leave after being offered a role in Tennessee Williams' play Night of the Iguana. His performance as Pedro was acclaimed by critics.
Soon after, Kassianides was noted as an actor to watch in a BBC documentary called Making It at Holby.
Since then, Kassianides has appeared in a number of television shows in the UK and the US, including Casualty, My Life in Film, Ultimate Force, MI-5, Holby Blue, Suburban Shootout, Ashes to Ashes, The Passion, The Fixer, Love Soup, Spooks: Code 9, Wuthering Heights, Hustle, Holby City, Law & Order: UK, Burn Notice, Nikita, Covert Affairs, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Zoo, How to Get Away with Murder, Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders, Suits, Pearson, and The Mandalorian.
Kassianides has also appeared in several movies such as Planespotting, Recovery, The Edge of Love, Quantum of Solace, Between Two Fires, Smooch, Desert Dancer, Lumen, and Unforgettable. He also produced, co-directed and starred in the film Geezas.
