Andrea Newman currently serves as an executive producer and writer on the hit drama "Chicago Fire." Having been with the show since its 2012 premiere, she signed an overall deal in 2014 to continue on the series while developing other projects for NBC.
Prior to her work on "Chicago Fire," Newman served on numerous hit series in both writer and producer roles, including "Felicity," "24," "Cold Case," "Private Practice" and "The Secret Circle."
Newman attended State University of New York for her undergraduate degree and went on to study playwriting at the New School in New York.
