"The Conners" will be getting a proper goodbye. The "Roseanne" follow-up has been renewed for a seventh and final season. The order is believed to be for six episodes, with the main cast, including John Goodman, Laurie Metcalf, Sara Gilbert and Lecy Goranson, expected to return. Along with the official renewal, ABC has released the first "Farewell Season" promo, which leans into The Conners' history that spans two shows.

The Conners are sticking around at ABC. The series has been renewed for its sixth season, the network announced Tuesday. The pickup is for 13 episodes, with an option for nine more, we hear.

Roseanne spin-off earns a fifth season.

Robinson will play Geena Williams-Conner, DJ’s (Michael Fishman) wife and Mary’s (Jayden Rey) mother, who returns home from active duty overseas in Afghanistan. Her character first appeared in the iconic episode from the original “Roseanne” series, “White Men Can’t Kiss,” (OAD: 11/16/94).
