Fixed and I've added a editor wiki explaining why we are listing the episodes this way :).

Re: Preacher episode numbers, they've been changed back to start from 1 and are now locked, despite the note in the editor wiki. This flipping back and forth is really challenging for API users!

Well, I personally think it's silly (and extremely uncommon) to start at ep 0 and would prefer ep 1, but a final determination should be made either way, those ep #s locked, and the editor wiki updated at http://www.tvmaze.com/showwiki/view?id=3144 to match. Otherwise there will continue to be confusion for the duration of the season...

BBC is starting to air this season now on Saturday, episode 1 has aired. Will that mean you will change the network or not?

no, because it premiered in canada a month ago, and we always go with the first airing :)

We will let it stay as number 1,2 and so on, episode 0 is a mistake :)

Just to clarify: the policy is clear about how to handle this (http://www.tvmaze.com/faq/15/episodes): data from press releases takes precedence over data from the show's official website. Since the press release for the episode "See" lists it as 1x02, that's what we'll use and the 1x00 numbering scheme listed on their website is ignored. I updated the wiki to reflect this.

(However; if a press release were to specifically indicate an episode as "1x00", that's what we would use.)

You would think that but they never do it that way. The 3 means Season 3 only unless they spell it out that they mean all season total?

Of course with that being said who can believe anything you ever see at that site anymore as I have proven time and time again how inaccurate a majority of their information is.

No it means 80 episodes over 3 seasons. ( you are on the current season "3" and there have been 80 episodes total) The highest episode number is 328 Po the Croc. Not sure what that mess at the top of the column is supposed to be though!

The other issue though is the season was split over two networks, so technically by site rules nothing after the 22 Jun 2014 episode (320 The Real Dragon Warrior) should have an air date listed, true?

I will discuss this with david (if the eps should be listed with airdates)
