Lost aired on ABC.com, that is why we added it.

And the tardisodes were available on the BBC site.

Yes, but silmutaneously? If they aired at first on mobile phones, you should consider them as web series? Then, why you rejected "L'ile" as it was definitely distributed in Germany and other countries as a TV series of 4 and 7 episodes? You assume (there is not an air date on links you provided) that it was distributed as TV movie at first, but I gave you evidence that it was aired as a series in some countries.

The separate entry looks correct.
Specials should be standalone and not in a serial format with other specials . For example, if each episode in a season is followed by an "after show" or "webisode", those episodes should be in a dedicated show entry.

Please tell me then, why gazza911 rejected this one? And why in specials of "Doctor Who" there are other series too like "Night And The Doctor", "Meanwhile In The Tardis", "The End Of Time", "Tardisodes", "Dreamland" and "Space Time"? All those are spin-off series of "Doctor Who" and not stand-alone special episodes. Besides that, "Special" is from it's creation a problematic term, making not clear in which kind of productions is referred to. Not made by you of course, just sayin...

Doesn't matter where it premiered first, as long as it was made available through broadcast or a web channel.

As for L'ile – you've been told many times, it is literally impossible to add series to TVmaze without a network or a web channel. We couldn't find a channel, where it was aired. If you could – provide it (with some proof). If you don't – let go.

Now that's clearly a mistake. Those specials should be deleted, and series should be created instead.

Yup, I forgot about the "not in a serial format" rule.

Probably quite a few of the Doctor Who specials need to be sorted it seems.

Maybe there's some admin hoodoo, that allows to transfer episodes from show to show...

So, a feature film, a video movie and any movie when eventually distributed in TV or web as series with episodes, may be added here properly, as long as you have info about it's network. The same I told you we do in RetroDB, too (we create both movie and series, though, each in his category)! Ok. When I found such information, I'll request that again. Thank you and sorry if I become tedius sometimes. :)

Do you want me to make requests on those or you don't need that? Why hoodoo? Much work to do? And what about "Pond Life" I already submitted you? You want this again from start? I don't know how it works, so I have to ask!

It would be great if you can make a list, which specials need to be deleted and need an own show page, I will take care of it then.

On "Doctor Who: Space And Time" that requested, I forgot to tell you deleting same titles episodes here.

Mandrake wrote 8 years ago: 1

I didn't request "Night And The Doctor" (2011) because Wikipedia writes that it is a video series. A straight-to-DVD one. Weird is that IMDB has them as TV series with BBC broadcasting them, but it's definitely wrong because it shows the same date released in TV & DVD which is impossible! They just had DVDs release date and made an episode list in that date for all episodes. So many years and they never made a "Video Series" category, so it's a problem to register properly such an entry.

The other production I didn't request is "Meanwhile In The TARDIS" (2008), because Wikipedia notes that is is a video series too (that's why IMDB separated them as two video movies). There are many spin-off video series on Whoniverse, but if you cannot add them I don't know a better way to present them as they never (in the best of my knowledge) released in TV as a series... They become hard to find too, in time. The question that arises, is the following: How can you add video movies and video series as special episodes in your database, when they didn't even distributed on TV? "Specials" are about TV, web and mobisodes. Right? And how you manage to put them there at the first place, when they don't have networks or web channels to support each entry you create?

If you select Season 2, you would only find 42 episodes, as listed here. But if you keep loading the episodes from the 'Latest Episodes' section you will see that Season 2 has 60 episodes, most of which are currently listed in Season 3 here. According to the site, Season 3 has only 4 episodes aired yet.

I will fix this after dinner, thank you :)
