Whichever way it should read I see that Season 2 will air all episodes on Netflix on 17 February. Is this the same series that aired 1 season on SHOWTIME in 2014?

No, it is not.

Doesn't that summary text violate policy?

How so? The title is never mentioned in the summary (presumably it's the subject), so it doesn't seem to violate the policy. Is there some other violation.
Am I missing something here?

The way I see it, the text referring to the name of the group, not the title of the show.
If it was like "The Seven Deadly Sins is about a group of evil knights..." then it'd be a title.
Well, I was just going by this line in the policy, but whatever the group wants is fine by me.
"If the name of the subject is used in the summary text, it must be formatted exactly according to the following policy."

"If the name of the subject is used in the summary text, it must be formatted exactly according to the following policy."
"A summary or biography's subject is the target of the page: a show, episode, person, network or web channel."
In this case the subject is a show, not "a group of evil knights".

+1 :)
Pentar: But even if it were the title... there are lots of titles in summaries formatted lots of different incorrect ways. The guidelines are relatively recent, and lots of titles were formatted the wrong way before the guidelines were added, and haven't been fixed. I usually find and fix a couple a week: I'm sure there are plenty more out there.
