Dozens of cancelled shows available on ABC.com

Just found 3-4 dozen or more older cancelled/ended shows (in TVmaze database) that are available to stream on demand free on ABC.com in their entirety. Some go back to the 1990s or earlier but a few are as recent as ending in 2015. Most were short lived single or 2 seasons but some spanned up to 7 seasons. Most found so far were originally aired on ABC but finding others that were originally on USA, the WB, TNT, FOX, Lifetime...maybe others. A few are shows that even I heard about....and I was never a TV person in the past (!)

It appears ABC made them available last summer. Unlike CBS, ABC has not yet jumped on the stand-alone subscription streaming model bandwagon...this makes me wonder if that isn't a goal. When I first signed up with CBS All Access about a year ago, they too had tons of old shows mixed in with complete past seasons of very long running series like NCIS. I did a lot of bingeing! Now it doesn't seem like CBS AA has all the same 'old ended stuff' it did back then. A few of those I think I saw a week or so ago as available to purchase on iTunes, Google Play, etc. So now's the time to take advantage of ABC free perhaps. I did try out Army Wives...series premier played fine. (a Lifetime show that ran for 7 seasons 2007-2013)

I'm rambling! So do you think adding a show note for this is appropriate? In the text or even in data fields?

I would not. You would also have to add notes for all of the older stuff NetFlix. Hulu, Amazon Video and others have available. Right now we only list original premier information. This may be something that could be added down the line when/if other premier dates (for international shows for example) is an option in the listings.

Just to add, the reason some of those shows such as Army Wives and Benched that are from other networks are on there is because they were produced by ABC. Like how Brooklyn Nine-Nine is produced by Universal but airs on Fox.
