Personally, I would think that the one listed under TRLH should be deleted, as the live-action Christmas special premiered in November 2021, and the new live-action series TRLH was announced later on in March 2022. The premiere date for TRLH was announced today, and I don't think the Christmas special should exist on a show that has yet to even premiere...

EDIT: Yeah... the series doesn't premiere until next month, but it says it has already running since 2021 due to the Christmas special being listed on the series currently.

It's the same cast which makes it part of that series even if it wasn't commissioned as a series yet.

The girl they got to play Lily Loud is the only exception. Perhaps the actresses who portrayed Lily Loud in the special but not in the series should be removed from the cast and added as guest stars on the special instead.

Whoever was credited as main cast needs to be kept as main cast.

They were credited as starring cast in the Christmas special but didn't get rehired to be in the main cast. The policy isn't clear what you're to do in that situation. But from what you're telling me being credited in a starring role in a special alone counts as main cast?

Yes policy is as clear as day in that we credit how someone is credited on screen always.

Yes. But that isn't the part that wasn't clear to me. It was not clear to me that specials were to be treated the same as regular episodes when adding main cast. That's because some specials are just one offs and don't have any of the usual starring cast. And the policy doesn't say what to do in special cases.

For example if there was a special and they got someone to star as the host of the special who isn't ordinarily on the show it wouldn't make sense to me to add him as a cast member. But you've been helpful in clearing that up.
