Please move the two Jersey Shore Family Vacation episodes (labeled Reunion Part 1 and Reunion Part 2) currently under "Specials" dated Oct 10, 2020 to Season Five and label Episode 30 and 31 respectively https://www.tvmaze.com/shows/35144/jersey-shore-family-vacation/episodes The correction will mirror the shows official labeling on MTV.com.

I was unable to change it. Any insight as to why I couldn't make the corrections is appreciated.

The problem with this is that at the end of episode 28 "Another Day, Another Crisis," the preview for the episode 29 "Vin Day" specifically calls it the "season finale." If anything they could be significant specials, but if they call it a season finale, it shouldn't have a normal episode after it.

Understood, but the official website for the show has them listed as episode 30 and 31 https://www.mtv.com/shows/jersey-shore-family-vacation. I would think that what is published on the official show's website would supersede a "Preview Statement". In my humble opinion, continuity should be based on what is published not what is said.

@JuanArango would like to get your thoughts on this.

A lot of the time is this due to a limitation in the networks publishing systems, as they simply don't have the capacity to identify specials (NBC I'm looking at you).

From a staff members POV a reunion show isn't the normal formula of the series, so based on on-screen Vs official website, the shows telling us this isn't the next normal episode. I think significant specials is the way to go.

I believe my last request was somehow overlooked, so I'm going to make it again. Can someone please add Jack Quaid voicing Lieutenant William Boimler as a guest star in the episode Kayshon, His Eyes Open? Thank you! :)

The official website also has the Jerzstory special listed as season 5 episode 102, so like Aidan said, American sites simply don't understand how to do a special and they're given an arbitrary episode number. The website also calls it the season finale at the bottom of this news article: https://www.mtv.com/news/ia822j/jersey-shore-family-vacation-surprise-vinny-worst-day-ever
