The new Futurama Season 8 is being listed as Season 11.  IMDB has it wrong. Hulu has it wrong.  There have only been Seven (7) seasons before this.  You cannot go from Season 7 to Season 11.

The production numbers start with 11 instead of 1 to separate it from the first incarnation of the series. TVmaze should handle it by adding it as a new show starting over from Season 1.

The version I watched had a 8 production code 😂. We definately wouldn't create a new show, it doesn't meet any of the criteria.

Could you change the title of the Rick and Michonne series to The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live

Yes, they are released early on Thursdays and air on TV on Sundays. It's been like this for TWD universe for a while, TWD, Fear, and Tales did the same. I suspect Daryl and TOWL will as well. It's common with AMC in general to release them early most of the time, there's even been some shows that released them a full week earlier than broadcast.

Futon Critic says that they all have 11xx production codes.

I found this topic explaining why official sources are regarding the newest season as Season 11: https://www.reddit.com/r/futurama/comments/sqn9mh/can_someone_please_explain_why_imdb_has_10/

According to this Comedy Central referred to its seasons as Seasons 7-10. I haven't verified this yet but if that's how it originally aired then TVmaze should reflect how they were officially presented by the network.

Provide me official sources showing that's how things were aired and I'll change it. Reddit is definately not one of those things. Watching the episode the production code starts with an 8.

Once again Wayback to the rescue.  According to this press release from that period -- Comedy Central did not refer to them as separate seasons every year for the 4 years, but rather as 'A' and 'B' components.  In my example - a snip from below shows the example of a season being split between 2 years and not counted as a new season the following year

NEW YORK, March 28, 2011 -- The future is looking bright for Fry, Leela and Bender! COMEDY CENTRAL and Twentieth Century Fox Television have announced today the pick-up of 26 new episodes (Seasons "7- A" and "7-B") of Matt Groening and David X. Cohen's brilliantly subversive animated sci-fi comedy, "Futurama." The announcement was made today by Twentieth Century Fox Television Chairmen Gary Newman and Dana Walden, and David Bernath, Executive Vice President, program strategy and multiplatform programming for COMEDY CENTRAL. The first installment of 13 new episodes will premiere in the summer of 2012, with the additional 13 new episodes to air the following summer of 2013 on COMEDY CENTRAL.

Some more digging shows the same for Season 6 with Wayback showing:  "Upcoming 2011 "Season 6-B" Premieres On Thursday, June 23 At 10 P.M."

Futon is wrong, the end of the episode itself says #8ACV01.

Honestly Hulu can't be trusted with the season numbering anyway, they're going back and changing Fox episodes around. It ran for 4 seasons on Fox, yet Hulu has them as 5 seasons. That's simply incorrect.

I'm surprised somebody hasn't tweeted the creators or Hulu asking why it's messed up. Or maybe they have, I don't use Twitter haha
