I don't think there's a clear distiction on seasons. Sometimes in the first or last episode they will say it's the season premiere or finale, but that's about it.
When I started edits, I followed the standard that was there. Specials were basically some Q+A after each episode itself.

If the specials have a seperate format then another show should be created. For now can this be year based please @david

PLEASE .. someone has messed it all up and i can longer get it to display in english .. not on HERE .?  nor on the tracking app i use that uses this database ..

Seems to be referring to https://www.tvmaze.com/shows/5312/dungeon-ni-deai-wo-motomeru-no-wa-machigatteiru-darou-ka-familia-myth and based on the data policies, I think the changes made by @MAT13 should be reverted: "...Transliterations or English translations of the first global curated Web Channel to air the show are also considered official if no other options are available. If an English name is available it takes precedence over a transliterated name, and a transliterated name takes precedence over a non-Latin character set version. In these scenarios, all other available names should be added as an AKA.."

But one of the heads should respond.

This all stems from the old discussion about using original titles of episodes where they first aired in the language they did. Live and learn. I'm using Note field for original kanji titles as recently pointed to by another staff member. I've fixed many already, and I would've fixed these too before too long. There may be a few shows still left with kanji episode titles, and I'll get to them as well.

There is a show - Golf Channel Academy - it exists on tvmaze but whose episodes are incomplete. I'd like to add episodes so I can track the ones I've watched. 

But there are two pieces of data I don't have: (a) I don't have any original air dates, or any dates apart from on-screen copyright year. (b) I don't know what series any episode should be allocated to. I can't find an official website. Best info I have is from a 3rd party website.

Am I ok to enter missing episodes and what series should I allocate to?

None of that is a official source or statement, so though unlikely it will return what we have for now is correct.

We can't do much without the original airdates

Could Game Changer and Make Some Noise both have their default airtimes (both currently set to 19:00) removed? As noted in the data policies, air/release times are not listed for global web channels. As noted here on Wikipedia and cited from this article/interview, Dropout is available around the world/in multiple countries.
