We can't do much without the original airdates

Then I'm forced to ask what the purpose of the site is - is it to provide a canonical, definitive database of shows or to be a useful tool in tracking what one wants to or has watched? If I can't enter the missing episodes somehow then they simply won't exist on the site. And neither I nor anyone else can therefore track them. Is it not better to have them entered with incomplete information - which can be updated if/when better information is available - rather than them simply being unknown to the site?

You can add episodes without airdates but you're saying you don't even have episode numbering information.

This all stems from the old discussion about using original titles of episodes where they first aired in the language they did. Live and learn. I'm using Note field for original kanji titles as recently pointed to by another staff member. I've fixed many already, and I would've fixed these too before too long. There may be a few shows still left with kanji episode titles, and I'll get to them as well.

Seems to be referring to https://www.tvmaze.com/shows/5312/dungeon-ni-deai-wo-motomeru-no-wa-machigatteiru-darou-ka-familia-myth and based on the data policies, I think the changes made by @MAT13 should be reverted: "...Transliterations or English translations of the first global curated Web Channel to air the show are also considered official if no other options are available. If an English name is available it takes precedence over a transliterated name, and a transliterated name takes precedence over a non-Latin character set version. In these scenarios, all other available names should be added as an AKA.."

But one of the heads should respond.

sounds like you agree with me .. thank you

https://www.tvmaze.com/shows/42827/the-sandman still has one episode left to air. Should it be marked as Ended before then?

According to your policy, "Ended: no more episodes of this show will air". Which is not true in this case.

Change series description for The Great Australian Bake Off to

Judged by global culinary icon Rachel Khoo and world-renowned pastry chef Darren Purchese, and hosted by comedians Natalie Tran and Tom Walker, season eight of The Great Australian Bake Off sees twelve, diverse amateur baking enthusiasts put through a series of challenges.

Each episode contains three themed baking challenges – Signature, Technical, and Showstopper. At the end of each episode, one baker is named Star Baker and one leaves the shed, until one is ultimately crowned Australia’s Best Amateur Baker.

The current one is several seasons outdated and mentions old judges and hosts.

I have some, from this 3rd party site: https://www.yidio.com/show/golf-channel-academy. And the on-screen copyright year.

I think my question is still valid. Clearly there's a wish to be accurate, but in the absence of complete information...

Match Game thats listed https://www.tvmaze.com/shows/84388/match-game is actually Season 6 of https://www.tvmaze.com/shows/16694/match-game. ABC themselves https://abc.com/show/775e33fd-dac8-4b37-a5f7-7e8a47fbbb14 have it listed as Season 6. Could you please update? Thank you so much

Please see here:

@TomSouthwell and whatever other staff- anything needs to be done regarding this? ABC is referring to it as just a 'new season' on their website (I think maybe in their promos? not 100% sure on that though) and even moved listings on The Futon Critic from http://www.thefutoncritic.com/showatch/match-game-reboot-series/listings/ to http://www.thefutoncritic.com/showatch/match-game/listings/, but their lead sheet still refers to it as season 1/"series premiere" and changed host/different crew members would make this a new series as far as TVmaze data policies go AFAIK.
