Just because the producers are the same doesn't mean that it's the same show.  I'll grant you that the first two episodes of the American series are probably the same as the last two episodes of the British series.  But the American Marie Antoinette episode and the British Reformation episode are clearly different.  So what's the harm in leaving both series up on the site?

There would be no way that the BBC would produce one seperate episode for the PBS broadcast and one for the BBC broadcast. I'm hoping someone higher up agrees with this too?

@JuanArango  @Thomas @tnt @gazza911

We would never list a show twice either even if the show name and episode names change for a foreign broadcast. Which does happen alot as well. My guess here is that fib is a British slang term that wouldn't of made sense for the American audience?

I watched this episode yesterday. Our local PBS airs it a couple days later than others.

The BBC is publicly funded (via in part by TV licensing). As far as I know, all of what they produce will air on their channel (or BBC iPlayer), so I very much doubt that they would have produced stuff that they didn't show.

If it is the same show (despite different names), we'd only list the BBC show.

I guess there's not much of a discussion here Tom as I completely agree with Gazza's and Juan's response too. I highly doubt there is much of a difference and if it's different, It would most likely be similar to ''The Transporter'' which used a different order of the episodes, so let's stick to one show. We can't satisfy all.

Ok, here's a link to the episode called The Reformation.

https://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/m000fj9c/royal-historys-biggest-fibs-with-lucy-worsley-series-1-1-the-reformation

It won't let me watch it because I'm not in the UK. If someone there can watch it and let us know if there is anything in it about Marie Antoinette, I'll concede defeat. :)

There is no need to watch it though, we could not list one episode of the PBS series by itself anyway. The site does not allow for one off episodes. Although if you search 'Marie Antoinette Lucy Worsley' on the BBC website the Royal Fibs show comes up, even though her name isn't mentioned once on the shows site.

Should Heidi be removed from the 'cast appearances' section of "Auditions 5"? If I recall watching last night, I think she did appear in the episode, but for less than a minute, as she was ill and Eric Stonestreet filled in for her. Not sure if she should still be included even if she did appear for a bit (she was shown briefly on a phone screen). And if she should be removed, then someone needs to help with that... :P

If she appeared she should be credited :)

Alright, thanks. Just wasn't entirely sure as it was literally this quick clip of her on the phone- this and this are the only two angles/shots of the whole segment.

It does not matter for how long she appeared, only if it was archival footage, then she should not be credited :)
