The BBC list it as its own entity, when the show aired I added the specially filmed new episodes of other shows as specials, as they were only 3-6 minute scenes filmed for the show but their title sequences aired.

you think i should delete it?

I would say so yes. Unless we keep it as insignificant. Children in Need still aired an event in 2020 which is annual. Comic Relief normally only airs every 2 years now with this year's event airing on Friday.

I'd say to delete as it was affiliated with both events and not more then the other one. The donations received were split equally 50/50.

Can someone update the network/country being used for airdates on series 21 of Midsomer Murders? ITV is the only network referenced, but ITV is only now resuming with episode 3 of series 21, whereas the airdate given here for that episode is 15 Dec 2019.

When I made an entry of a significant special episode for Chibi Maruko-chan as a part of season 2 (as directed as "Specials are always part of a season"), the next regular episode cannot be added as the next sequence. The next regular episode should be numbered as 1280, but the input box does not allow me to put a 4 digit number but 3. Usually, the episode number box is already filled with the next number, but this time it is reset to 1.

Can you help?

I'm a bit confused by this. Are you saying it aired elsewhere (i.e. not ITV) on that date?

Having such large seasons (spanning 16 years) doesn't really seem useful.

This would probably fall under this part of our episodes data policy:

"The season number for the episode. For the vast majority of shows, the network or web channel announces and assigns season numbers to each episode.

However, some shows like daily soaps or daily talk shows don't have any notion of season numbers. In such a case, the premiere year of the episode should be used as season number."

Unless there's any objections, I'll ask david to change it to the year based numbering tomorrow.

Thank you. Actually, I have been wondering why the show has such a lengthy years for one season. I am not sure why because I just succeeded to the show's maintainer a couple of years ago.

ITV is the show-owner, but for quite a few years now, they have sold some episodes to other countries before airing them themselves. For example, to Australia or Sweden. This has been discussed before, in the past, before there were clear TVmaze guidelines regarding show-owners. However, unless I am too sleep-deprived to think, shouldn't the airdates all be from ITV regardless @ "Airdate owner"?

It was streamed on BritBox, which is partially owned by ITV.

Air dates shown for "The Dog Show" (https://www.tvmaze.com/shows/43593/the-dog-house/episodes) season 2 are actually the dates that the episodes were available to watch on the official site (https://www.channel4.com/programmes/the-dog-house/episode-guide) except for episode 8 which is not yet available, rather than the actual airdates. I believe the TVMaze policy is to show the air dates, which are every Thursday starting on March 11, 2021 (see https://next-episode.net/the-dog-house/season-2). At any rate, episode S02E08 is not yet available anywhere so that air date should probably be changed or deleted to prevent confusion. Thanks!

The broadcast airdates are listed in the alternate list, here https://www.tvmaze.com/alternatelists/118/the-dog-house-broadcast-premiere

As for episode 8, I have absolutely no idea what has happened there. It was 100% listed on all4 when season 2 was made available. I know this because I took the episode description from there myself to add the summery here.
