Please remove the special episode listed for Gold Rush: Parker's Trail that was added for Friday, March 26. It is a 2 hour long episode that are repeats of season 4 episode 3 and episode 4. I would not consider this a special episode as it is just another instance where Discovery packages together repeats of past episodes and then tries to spin it as a new special episode by giving it a new name. Thanks.

I really do appreciate all your help on this one.  I did check the page and this one jumped out at me.  S06E03 "Toilet Crusher" has an airdate of Oct 20 2010 but on my original notes from a year ago (taken from Maze) I have that episode airing Oct 20 2009.  I didn't want to go changing anything while you are in the middle of correcting things. Thanks again for the extra work!

All should be in order now :)

The correct episode airdate is March 20th, 2021

Devil in the Rock should be E13

E07 should be removed and the ep # adjusted accordingly

probably also need to change the show to discovery+ if you're using their airdates

also, I find it curious because the episode appeared on the net on December 11, which means it was actually released by TRVL on December 10

@l0s3r  do you have any actual proof besides the futon's listings?

The confusion stems from the transition from Travel to DiscoveryPlus.  The episode in question was meant to air on 12/10, but it was pulled (as well as the episode the following week) in the move.  It was stated at the time that they were on a "mid-season break" - which isn't entirely true.

The appearance of the episode online was an error of Travel Channel.  The episode did not air on Travel Channel - but it was released to Travel Channel On Demand (for those with access to it) in error.  This was eventually corrected, but not before the episode was already out there.

You can see a brief video discussing this and attempting to clear it up here.  The short version is:  The release to Travel Channel On Demand did happen - so do you keep that air date?  Or because it was not intentional (and then removed) - do you keep the DiscoveryPlus date?

By the way - all of these DiscoveryPlus paranormal shows are going to likely have some editing conflicts in the next month or so.  Episodes of Ghost Nation as well as the show in question here (Holzer files) that were premiered on Discovery+ are now going to start airing on Travel Channel in April for the first time.  DiscoveryPlus in the UK will be getting the season 2 episodes of Holzer available to air around end-of-May.

So all of that won't be confusing at all.  :-)

Yeah, I found several mentions of that in Twitter and Facebook posts of the show stars.

LOL
That explains it :)

Well, since it was not aired on Travel Channel it would've been listed with blank airdate.

I believe some of them already aired. I think we should stick to the broadcast schedule, at least for the current seasons, and use alternate lists for the partial discovery+ premieres.

So all of that won't be confusing at all.  :-)

Yeah, Discovery keeps inventing new ways to screw us ))
Anyway, thanks for the explanation :)
