Where does it say that it's part 2 of season 1? Netflix is using the term "part" instead of "season" in many other shows. For example, https://www.tvmaze.com/shows/32649/chilling-adventures-of-sabrina/episodes

Season 1 has 10 episodes, released in 2 parts due to lock-down limitation in France last year. The 2nd part being this summer.

By TVmaze policy only the on-screen data is preferred over the network's press source. So unless you show me a screenshot from the episode, where it says "season 1", it's season 2.
