Please merge Nora Sergeant from the main cast with Nora Sargent from the guest cast, they're one and the same character.

Also, the name should be "Sargent", not "Sergeant". She is playing the nurse and I've checked what's written on her nametag and it's Sargent.

 

Just noticed this show treats many characters as main cast so many will have to be moved there from guest cast. I'm currently going through season one episodes and will submit what needs to be corrected later today.

"Being Human" main cast needs addition...

...I went through entire season 1 and this is how the credits are presented. There is no typical TV-show opening and instead after the opening title the cast is listed. Starting with three star actors and then others. In some rare episodes there is "Special Guest Star" at the end. Whenever Mark Pellegrino appears he is always last in the opening credits and it says "And Mark Pellegrino". When there is Special Guest Star, he again appears at the end after it with "And..." which looks like he is also a special guest star in those episodes. Not sure if for those episodes he should be treated as main cast or going by credits which "looks" like he's credited as special guest star, but can't be sure about it.

After each episode there is end credits just saying "Cast" and this is where guest cast are listed.

Now, we have many episodes with guest cast and co-actors, but many of them are not credited and there is no co-actor grouping so not sure what the original source was for credits we have on file.

However, one thing is sure, many of guest cast will have to be moved to main cast according how we're handling things here.

Here is how credits appear in each episode...

You should go through this and any guest cast that is listed in the Opening Cast in the list below should be moved to main cast and added as such in that episode. End Credits cast should remain in Guest Cast (not in co-acting and guest cast mix), and anyone else should be marked as Uncredited.

The only exception in the list are episode 1 and 2 since they are two parts of the same episode (more or less) and they seem to have kept same credits in both episodes so I'd leave the guest cast as is in our episode 2.

 

Now, I can edit all the guest cast myself, so if you don't want to do that, I'll do it.

But one of you guys will need to move about a dozen or so names from guest cast to main cast.

I am guessing other seasons have this same problem, but I'll try to submit error report for those on episode by episode base rather than like this for full season which may deter you guys from fixing it soon :)

If the on-screen information is ambiguous or inconclusive, you need to look at the next best source according to Episodes policy.

The list isn't ambiguous, it's just presented like that.

Didn't we recently have discussion about one of the newer series where they listed cast like that (perhaps The Flash of Supergirl or something else, don't remember) and you told me if they're listed in the opening like that, then they are main cast even if they don't appear in every episode. Remember when I recently missed "Guest Cast" on some such opening credits. This is the same. All cast is credited in the opening with occasional Special Guest Star, but the others are on the level with main three which does make them "main" if the goal on this site is consistency.

Why would you now do opposite or go by website source and not how it's presented on the actual episodes?

I do agree that perhaps all of them shouldn't be main cast, but that's how they're presented in the episodes. And also, that's how you marked main cast on other TV series that don't have a typical opening-credits that's same for every episode per season. You're using different policies on different TV shows which only makes things inconsistent. If Pellegrino who appears sporadically per episodes is the main cast, then some of the other who are much more prominent and appear in much more episodes and are credited on the same level should also be treated as main cast. I wonder why Kristen Hager was added as main cast, for example. Just because she appears on some of the poster art? She definitely does feel like a semi-main cast, especially as the show progresses, but she too is credited in the same place during those opening credits.

So, should I leave things as they are and just don't bother with credits or do things need fixing?
