It's a screenshot from the episode. While it's definitely a weird choice of the frame to grab, there's nothing wrong with it technically.
Except the episode 6, the image has black bars on the sides, which are not allowed. I'm deleting it.

I believe the official website has better pictures. And of course, aspect ratio 16:9.

The show has a different aspect ratio. I can add Netflix images, but there are no technical reasons to replace the ones we have.

One reason: the official ones will not look like they've been badly cropped in the Episode Guide.

Since gallery images should be taken from the actual episode, their aspect ratio should be the same as on the show itself.

They also have better resolution... so if someone uploads the minimum res 1280x720 required. That's it? No one should replace it (with a 1920x1080px for example) because that pic is technically ok?

in short words - yes
but technically you can grab exactly the same frame from the source with a higher resolution and replace it :D

you can of course also add your image to the gallery without deleting the other one, it is perfectly fine to add more than one picture to a gallery.

Where is this in the rules? And why one should "grab exactly the same frame from the source with a higher resolution" in order to replace (and by replace I mean set it as a main picture) a picture with a better one (in this case normal aspect ratio, better resolution)?

I don't understand: why should the first uploaded picture be so important? This makes no sense.

as I said if you got a higher resolution picture then you can upload it and you can also set it as the main picture, but keep the other allowed one in the gallery as well.

This, incidentally, was the artistic means of the authors of the documentary. Show the interrogation of a guy in a different visual format than the rest of the episode.

their aspect ratio should be the same as on the show itself. - By this rule, by the way, the vast majority of pictures from Netflix and Amazon are not reliable ... They have different proportions in almost every third series.
