Do you want me to leave the cast until you've watched the episodes to match which characters the actors/actresses played?

No. This is not necessary. They don't interfere but are no longer necessary.

See episode 1x01 again as an example - https://www.tvmaze.com/episodes/225680/scooby-doo-where-are-you-1x01-what-a-night-for-a-knight

Notice the "Additional Voices" in the Guest Cast. Those are those that weren't matched.
And notice they're a single character (or set, since it says "voices") - https://www.tvmaze.com/characters/890256/scooby-doo-where-are-you-additional-voices
John Stephenson was matched to exact character so he did not appear under "Additional Voices" under guest cast.

Now, they all appear under main cast under separate Additional Voices which is not preventing me from adding the right guest cast, but they really should all be deleted from Main Cast (all six of them). I do have all episodes from both seasons so I don't plan to use what was entered here as a reference so there really is no reason to leave them until I add all the guest cast ;) They are tied to other tv shows so deleting them from main cast won't remove any actor.

Hi, I started working on https://www.tvmaze.com/shows/4857/love-it-or-list-it (to add summaries and episode pics) and when I got to 2x15, surprise! :) The episodes have names from OWN network (not HGTV) Pretty messed up after 2x14.

As I already said recently, the edits made back in 2015-2016 with high probability won't be 100% correct for a number of reasons. So if you see something edited back then, take it with a grain of salt. And if it looks dubious or incorrect, this is most probably because it is indeed incorrect :D

That's fine but why has different actors all been added to the same 'Additional Voices' character, each actor should have their own. Main cast deleted.

Are you sure about this? I was using Castlevania as a reference as to how these things should be done.

Please take a look at this and tell me if this is then entirely wrong and needs splitting into separate Additional Voices - https://www.tvmaze.com/characters/443260/castlevania-additional-voices

**EDIT**

This also made more sense to me because the character is called "Additional Voices" and covers multiple unknown characters so it is only logical to include all actors that portray that group of characters and keep them like that unless they get known and then can be separated per episode.

Another point is that same actor can play different character (like in Scooby Doo) in each episode and even if we only keep one Additional Voices character per actor, the actor can still portray dozens of different characters in our single character entry because his additional voice is for different character in every episode.

So, before I go on working on the rest, please let me know what is the proper course of action.

Yes I just double checked with the other staff as well. We definately credit each actor seperately as they aren't all providing the same "Additional Voice" and that's even if they are prodividing a voice at all. If the shows you are watching are anything like the marvel animations of the same time either everyone gets credited for every episode or just 3 cast get credited and the rest is all research.

Just for the reference, this is how it's done in Castlevania for example https://i.imgur.com/kXMrj66.png
